IHOP

I went to high school in Knoxville, Tennessee. I somehow ended up in the lesbian crowd, even though I was completely not dating women at the time.

Anyway, I had this ridiculous, straight-girlish, hopeless crush on a girl named Gracie. Gracie, of course, loved Lauren. But I was harmless because I was straight, so Gracie and I spent a lot of time together.

We used to go to the IHOP after school every Thursday, and we always ordered something to share. If my memory serves me, we ordered something called the Chocolate Chip Hot Fudge Devotion Pancake Sundae. It was gigantic. It was two plate-sized chocolate chocolate chip pancakes covered in chocolate chips and whipped cream, with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge.

I googled the Chocolate Chip Hot Fudge Devotion Pancake Sundae today and got NOTHING. It's as if this fantastic treat never existed. Does anyone out there remember my dear IHOP treat? The love that Gracie and I shared?
